Hope and Fear
Over one million refugees and migrants have fled to Europe this year (2015). Many came by sea in dangerous inadequate boats. Although the distance between the Turkish coast and Lesbos (Greece) is relatively small, this is the part they fear most. Smugglers tell them it’s only a small river they have to cross. After arriving in Greece the relief is big and intense. Another small victory towards a better future.
